The northern hillside of Marigot Bay offers an unforgettable adventure package that combines hiking and watersports. Trek along the picturesque Billy Goat Trail, reaching a stunning 650 ft ridge where vibrant flora and fauna accompany you, and the melodic calls of local birds fill the air. At the summit, take in breathtaking views of Marigot Bay, the Roseau Valley, and the distant peaks of Mount Gimie and Gros Piton, renowned for their beauty. After your hike, dive into a variety of watersports, from hobie cat sailing to snorkeling, ensuring exploration and fun in this tropical paradise.
When you arrive at the Lush Excursions office in Marigot Bay, you will meet with your Guide who will provide you with a bottle of water and brief you on the hike. You then proceed to get on a ferry to take a short 5 minute ferry ride to the north side of the bay. Hike the Billy Goat Trail which traverses a mangrove and then up the hillside where you will see indigenous plants including flora and fauna, hermit crabs, and birds that call the trail home. Enjoy fruits that are in season such as wild berries and cherries. At the ridge, you will see the entire Marigot Bay, Roseau Valley, Roseau Beach and as far back as Mount Gimie and Gros Piton. After descending, you do watersports for about 1 hour such as hobie cat sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, snorkeling or simply relaxing. Afterward, take the short ferry ride back and return to your hotel or cruise terminal.
